Beginning with a breathtaking view of the Pacific and protected by ocean pines, the main floor Loft of theLighthouse is a sanctuary for rest and renewal. The main flor of the the Lighthouse is sheltered by a small grove of shore pines, offering a feeling of privacy and seclusion from the activities below.
A local architect designed this home in concert with the coastal environment and with careful attention to privacy and comfort.
Your introduction to this delightful cottage begins at the landing at the top of the stairs. As you enter, it becomes clear why it was named the Light-House. Light plays off the rounded corners and envelops and warms the entire room. Newly redecorated in a fresh "straw hats at the beach" theme, the wide plank wood flooring and soft sand colors on the walls reflect the changing moods of the sunlight and seashore.
The sliding glass door leads to a spacious deck overlooking the forested yard and ocean.
There is a private bath with tub and shower for soaking after an invigorating beach walk.
The Lighthouse has comfortable accommodations for two people. An additional first floor oversized bedroom and bathroom with tiled shower is available to accommodate two additional people for $75 per night.
The first floor offers a queen bed, a sitting area with futon, a small entertainment center with satellite TV, iPod docking station and separate CD player. This large, open room has French doors overlooking the yard to the ocean beyond.
